Musée du Louvre

The Musee du Louvre is one of the worlds larges museums, the most visited art museum in the world and a historic monument. A central landmark of Paris, it is located on the Right Band of the Seine in the 1st arrondissement (district). Nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 19th century are exhibited over an area of 60,600 meters.
(a very generic intro for you from wiki)

Here are some things I found interesting on my very short visit of the Egyptian section...
Not much description because I couldn't read the French caption maybe next time lol.

UNTIL NEXT TIME....
***Much Luv***

First solo walk through the city...

This journey began with me just picking a street to walk. Every street in this area has millions of stores for any and everything you could think of. Shoes, clothes, jewelry, hair products, electronics, FOOD, CELL PHONES. I have never seen so many cell phone stores on a street.

Here I am walking and I see a very familiar restaurant, yep a McDonald's...
They even have a machine that looks like an ATM but you can place your food order here.
I know right... Soon we will be out of jobs for real lol...

This experience just continues...
Paris if full of slopes and hills... hopefully I can you this to my advantage and maybe drop a couple pounds right lol jk. This is a great view of now many of the city streets look. The streets are really tight, if you think there are crazy drivers in Chicago, don't be surprised if someone runs you over and say its your fault. I almost lost my life in the streets a few times. COME ON GIRL, WALK FAST  AND DON'T HIT ANY CARS... lol
The METRO...
This area, very congested and alive. Just like Chicago, people trying to sell cigaretts here... MARLBORO, GET YOUR MARLBORO... lol

It was now dark and I was solo, every guy wants to be super friendly sooooo it definitely was time to go back home lol.
Until next time people...

From my bedroom window

Beginning of the Journey

It all began with the hours counting down 3 2 1...
It was time to head off to airport, the family there supporting me in my journey. And the red velvet cupcakes me and the little bro poodie smashed in the car.
Bye... Love y'all...

Fasten seat belt, here we go... 0 to 300 in a matter of seconds. The city I know and love underneath me. Seeing Illinois from this view was so beautiful, all the night street lights glowing...
See you soon home...maybe :)

13 hours later... Hi Paris!
All bags collected and at the front exit of the airport. Now what?... 2 seconds pass,
Bonjour... Taxi? Uhmmm... Yes
The city air smelled very interesting indescribable...
Up 4 flights of stairs and here we are safely in our apartment and exhausted.
Goodnight until next time...
